Building your own model from scratch may seem like an extremely difficult task, but this is not the case. I have only just started and have already gotten some nice results. Scratchbuilding totally turned me off from building kits. It takes time, sweat and some blood if you're not careful, but it delivers much more satisfaction than kitbuilding, at least to me it does.
